A New Attitude

I have wanted to join a new gym lately. My current gym only has daycare during the day twice a week and that is just annoying to me. A new gym down the street has opened up and it has much better daycare hours. When I approached Sweet Love about it, well, lets just say it was NOT pretty.

So, I have to find a new way to still get in strength training for those days that I am unable to get to the gym and when I just want another day to lift! I am resistant against those bands, I know, just bear with me! And I have no room for a 'gym' in my garage, though I am leaning towards making that happen anyway! So, long story short... I have to find a way to fit being strong, into my normal life. My life as a mama, wife, friend, homemaker... I have to many ideas floating around in my head. I just have to assimilate them and make a plan. This is life, right? I am finally figuring that out, and wanting to just make it work, rather than thinking that everything has to be just right in order for it to work. I have to MAKE it work. Good thing my daddy made me his assistant in everything (he was a mechanical engineer that was always building or repairing something)... and so I learned well how to make things work, even when they REALLY did not want to! haha!

Here is to my new attitude!

heavy sigh. figure it out, and get on with the bands already. you know it is just as good. then when renewal time comes you can join the new gym...or whatever your new plan is.

body weight exercises will take you far while you figure it all out! Great job on the 9 miles and on sticking with your goals! And it should be snowing here, but isn't. bummer. I got new nordic skis and boots for my birthday in Dec. and have only gotten to use them twice. And running in the cold? The best. I like it between 30 and 45 degrees for a perfect run!
Hooray for your spring-inspired attitude!
