I am still in a funk, but thankfully better. And the best part, I can actually see all the bright blessings in my life! Wonderful friends, Sweet Love, and The Boy, who is a light and joy!
Today I only managed to be raw till 2pm... but that is my fault and I can learn from today. Not that big a deal anyway, since I only planned on being raw till 3ish anyway! I just knew I had to eat THEN or make a really bad decision an hour later, so I ate what I could get in my mouth NOW that was still on plan! Some days I am sooooo hungry, and other days, I feel like it is force feeding myself just to get a Green Lemonade in by noon!
Tonight, ooooh sooo yummy! I just went into my wonderfully, and colorful, stocked fridge and pulled out what looked yummy, washed and chopped it up and topped it off with some of that yummy yellow dressing I made. I had a HUGE salad of mixed baby greens (I still don't really like half of them, but they are cheap, so I got over it) topped with: cucumber (Oh my fav), yellow squash (Who knew it is actually quite yummy raw?), zucchini, tiny bit of goat cheese, and half an avocado. Oh, and that avocado... smooth, buttery, and oh so creamy! The dressing is a lemon, garlic, olive oil and agave nectar(my new favorite natural sweetener!). Who knew salad would be so yummy when I finally found a dressing that was not full of chemicals or non nutrients!? Oh, and another thought on the raw squash... it is like natures answer to fast food. You know how you don't have to really chew fast food, it just goes down the gullet so easy? So does squash! I hate to chew, so that is a big deal to me! haha!
I keep not managing to get in my green smoothie. The best time to drink it would be during nap time, but for some reason I am soooo resistant to making it in the garage, lest I wake The Boy! Gotta either find a better time slot, or get over myself. I think it will require me getting over myself either way! ha! I will figure it out! I do oh so love them!

Glad to hear you are feeling better! You should make the smoothie when you make him his lunch. You are already in the kitchen!
