My mom came to town. We are a pair, the two of us. We decided to tackle the kitchen. I have been tired of my kitchen for a LONG time. So, we painted the cabinets and the walls. I am going for a 50's chic kind of thing.

This is the other side of the kitchen/dining room. LOVE red! I even recovered the chairs in oilcloth. Easy to wipe clean!
So... anyway. I have been doing that kind of work my whole life. Every house we ever lived in we took on major projects (like completely gutting, while living in it for 7 years, a 100 year old house). Problem is, since it is not our job, but something we do AFTER we have put in a full days work... we kind of slack on the rest of our lives. I don't know how to work out, and eat right while doing something major like this. I mean, the WHOLE kitchen was torn apart. So.. needless to say, I ate fast food for every meal and never ran a step. Barely slept too.
Sooo, I have discovered some things. I am totally craving a green smoothie WEEK. When I eat crap food, I am starving and not satisfied. My knees really hate that food (I already knew that, but it is painfully obvious). I feel all round and uncomfortable. And as for the mental stuff... yuck.
SO, this is the plan. The Boy is doing pretty well on his meal plan, and we are just going to follow his lead! haha! Today I am resting, because honestly, I am so tired I can barely put one foot in front of the other. Tonight, I will talk to Sweet Love about ME getting to run 2 mornings a week while HE takes The Boy! What a novel idea, right! ha! And I am reserving the gym for tomorrow. I really need to get back to weights. Oh yeah, and I need to write out a plan for finishing the bike part of the Duathlon in a couple months... YIKES! I almost forgot about that!
