Empowering Pull Ups

Today I did one of the workouts in the book I mentioned last post. It ROCKED. My arms are so pumped they hurt so good and if I am not sore from this... well, then there is NO way to make my arms sore!

My workout as follows:
DB Flyes
Pec Deck Flyes (why have I not done these before!?!?!)

Assisted Pullups (Hell Yeah!)

Lat raises
Rear Lats (I don't like these, but Tosca said that they can help with a rounded back. I need help with that!)

Single Lying Triceps Extensions (Again, why have I never done these? I LOVED them!)
Standing Triceps Extensions

Preacher Curls (Tosca gave a modification that really helped me be able to finally do these comfortably!)
Pulley Curls (another new one I loved!)

So, why do I not try new exercises more often? WHY!? It was so fun. I came home from the gym so pumped up and excited that I actually made a Chia protein shake (yummy by the way!) as soon as I got home.

As for the no sugar, I was planning on dramatically reducing my coffee intake next. Lets just say it will be super easy since coffee with honey is just NOT my thing! ;) I have barely finished a cup of coffee (granted my 'cup' is gargantuan) since I started the no sugar thing!
