It has been a rough couple of days, almost two weeks actually. I have barely run, and now my meals are just HORRIBLE. This week alone I have hit the drive through more than I have in the past 6 weeks combined! YUCK!
Now life should be a little back to normal... but the worst part of the last couple days... is it is all my own fault. If I was not a procrastinator, then I would have had more control over the situation, and would have been able to take better care of myself.. and maybe I would not be sick.. AGAIN. I have not run all week... and tomorrow is my 12 mile run! What have I done to myself!
Weird of all weirds though, I have lost another pound. I am back down under 150 now. Guess I better pick up my eating and working out so that my metabolism doesn't take a big hit and I stop getting lean and healthy!
Oh, and I bought some exercise bands this week. I played with them yesterday. I still don't see how they will get me anywhere, but they are worth a try! And my new speed rope came in the mail yesterday. After my half is finished, I will be trying out jump rope for two of my cardio sessions at least.
So, tonight, after The Boy gets to bed, I will make out my menu and shopping list. Gotta climb back onto that running chariot before it is too far away to want to catch it!
Side note.. I am SO sick of basketball.. and the finals have just started! Haha!
