Answers to Bill

I am reading Body For life. I have done the program in the past, and lived most of the last 10 years doing the program. It works for me... so why do anything else, right? Anyway, I am going to do his program again, with a few tweaks. I want to eat less processed foods, so I am not drinking Myoplex. I will be making my own shakes. (I am still nursing, so I am a big freak about some of the things that go into my body, as they are the building blocks for my son's body!)

Anyway... He (the author) asks some good questions. I like that he gets to the heart issue of why people are not making the changes in their bodies that they say they want. Here are the questions, and my answers:

Have you made the decision to change?
Yes

What are your reasons to change?
I want to be a healthy example for my children (I only have one, but I want LOTS more!)
Feel confident in pretty clothes (I LOVE clothes)
Give my Sweet Love a sexy confident wife...

When you look at yourself, do you honestly like what you see?
NO... and almost never have I in my whole life...

How do you feel deep down inside?
Tired, fat, almost depressed, deeply disappointed.

How do you really feel about yourself?
Ashamed - I have everything it takes to be an amazing and encouraging example of health...

Are you confident, energetic, and strong?
No, no, and sadly, no

Do you often wonder if you are on the right path?
No, I know what parts of my life are right, and what is wrong.

This is where he REALLY got me. I am a logical thinker (even as scatterbrained as I am, still logical!) Way to put it in black and white for me!
What are the pros and cons of continuing in the direction you are going?
Pros
Easy
I don't have to change
No chance of failure

Cons
Unhappy
fatter every year
baby with skin issues (because I still nurse)
unhappy (wonderful) Sweet Love
tired, unhealthy, flabby
uneventful sex life from my lack of confidence
no accomplishments
No successes
unfair to my Sweet Love and The Boy
bad example

Would you like to create a brighter future?
Definitely!
